Should we upgrade?

1. WINDOWS 10 COMPUTERS:
   Timeslips 2015 and earlier will not run properly on newer operating systems (Windows 10).  If you own Timeslips 2015 or earlier, you should upgrade.
2. FIRM NEEDS ADDITIONAL LICENSES OR ELECTRONIC BILLING:
   Only currently supported products are eligible for additional licenses or electronic billing add-on module.  If your firm needs either of these, you will need to own either Timeslips 2017 or Timeslips 2018.
3. IMPROVED DATABASE ENGINE:
   Timeslips 2017 and Timeslips 2018 have a new database engine called Firebird.  Firebird is a form of SQL and I have found fewer incidents of data corruption and easier backups as compared to the previous database engine called Borland (BDE).
4. SAGE TIMESLIPS e-CENTER:
   If your firm uses Timeslips eCenter,  only “supported versions” will run with eCenter.  You MUST be running Timeslips 2017 or Timeslips 2018 if you want to use eCenter.
5. WE PREFER TO USE CURRENTLY-SUPPORTED SOFTWARE:
   Many firms want to be on a manufacturer supported version.
