“There are not enough licenses to allow use of the program at this time.”

This error message will appear if Timeslips has been opened on more workstations than your firm has licenses for.  It may also occur if you replace a computer or if someone has the program “locked” open on their workstation (evident when viewing server connections).  Following are the steps to clear licenses:

  1. Close Timeslips on all computers
  2. From the Start Menu choose “All Programs” … “Timeslips” … “Timeslips Station Administrator”
  3. From the top menu bar click “Options” … “Licenses in Use”
  4. At the bottom of the display, click “Clear All”
  5. Click “Yes” and “Yes” again and the close Station Administrator
  6. Open Timeslips
